The radio spot in Drachten was great fun - thanks Midvliet!
Joost Prinsen and I played a few songs at a house concert in Veendam.
Giethoorn was one of my favorite places. We went for a boat ride through the canals, and we had this really cool guide. He's not a bad harmonica player, either.
O'Ceallaigh's Irish Pub in Groningen was a really fun gig. The owner, Peter (top right) is a sweetheart, and Stephanos (bottom right) sat in on percussion. He was fabulous!
Erik Stulp, one of my new friends in Groningen.
I got to visit the town of Vogelenzang, where my Mother was born. This is the church where she was christened.
Here's the inside of the church in Vogelenzang.

We stopped at a cafe on this canal while riding our bikes on my first day in Delfzijl, and had a Witte Bier.
These glorious rapeseed fields are everywhere. They smell a bit like honeysuckle, very sweet and light, and when the sun gets low, they glow.
The room hanging out over the water was an outhouse....
