Maggie and I are pleased to (once again) host a house concert
featuring Randall & Claudia. After an incredible concert here in
June, we have asked them to return for another show.
Special guest Karyn Oliver opens (http://www.karynoliver.com)
Karyn is a fabulous songwriter and singer!
This is a performance you don't want to miss.
Please RSVP by email or telephone and see more info below. We will
email directions upon request.
Randall and Claudia deliver quiet acoustic ballads and stories born
from lives of travel, living strong and loving true. Their strong
voices and rich but mellow guitars speak to the beauty of human
warmth and kindness.
Randall and Claudia are two internationally active singer/songwriters
with independent careers, but together they have created depth in
their songs that neither has achieved alone.
The show starts at 8:00 pm.
Suggested donation is $10 per person.
We will be serving wine, fruit, cheese, coffee and tea.
Please bring a dessert or bottle of wine to share.
We hope you can join us.

Stop the Madness is an all-afternoon, family-friendly celebration, with great live music and a variety of outdoor activities in a beautiful setting on an old farm in the forest in the heart of the Catoctin Mountains. But it is also a poltical event, even if only around the edges.
This outdoor concert event is being sponsored by the "Friends of Kai Hagen." The proceeds will go to support his campaign for the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners. Kai will speak briefly between a couple of the bands. A few other candidates for county commissioner are likely to attend, as well. There will be a few tables at the edge of the meadow where attendees can meet the candidates, pick up other information, or grab a bumper sticker or a yard sign to take home.
Frederick County is at a crossroads, and Kai's campaign is an important part of the fight to save the heart and soul of Frederick County.
Our current planning process and business-as-usual development patterns will continue to diminish our quality of life if we don't change course. Who we elect to the Board of County Commissioners in November will affect every aspect of life in the county.
Please join us on the 23rd. Have a great time, and help make a difference that matters!

Corky got his liquor license, so for those of you who were disappointed at not being able to party last time you came out to this venue, fear no more. Just designate a driver, I don't want your untimely death on my hands.
I'm the featured performer this time around, so I'll be playing from about 9:15 until 10. This is a really great venue.
