NYC Gray Day, and new songs emerging

Hello :),

I haven't been as prolific in the past year as I was in the 2 or 3 years before that. I honestly don't know if hat's good or bad, it's just true. I've been thinking about it a lot lately. Am I just writing less because I have less misery to draw on ;), or am I just getting more particular about what I put out?

It's a bit of both, I guess. I don't have the same desperate need to put all of my...stuff...somewhere 24/7, that's certainly true. And healthy. But the songs that I HAVE written more recently are, IMHO, really good. So ultimately I've taken a few baby steps in the right direction, I suppose.

I have been frustrated with the slowness of my creativity, and trying to focus on way to make to more efficient, more reliable (if that's even possible). I made a choice yesterday to "clear the mechanism" - not sure what Kevin Costner has to do with this, but oh well...I watched no TV, and played no games on my phone. New CD update, etc.

OK, so it’s been waaaay too long since I’ve posted any news. And the funny thing is, there’s tons of news! Not all of which I’m going to put here.....;-)

The new CD is done and now available at shows. It will be just a bit longer before you can buy a CD copy online, but digital downloads should be ready to go in the next week or so. They are being processed as we speak to be available on iTunes, etc.

In the meantime, I have posted a copy of the opening track that you can listen to on the music page here. I hope you enjoy it.

I have probably been more new places this year than I have been in the whole of my life before now. That idea just keeps coming back to me, followed very closely with the thought, “what the hell were you waiting for?” It’s been so much fun, but a lot of hard work, too.
